Welcome to Fearprint. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform. By creating an account or using Fearprint, you agree to be bound by these terms. We have written these terms to be clear and fair to both you and us.
Fearprint is open to users who are 18 years of age or older in the United States, and 16 years of age or older in the European Economic Area. By registering, you confirm you meet the minimum age requirement for your region.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the age requirement has not been met.
Note: We set these age limits because our platform discusses psychological responses to horror content. Parental discretion is advised for younger audiences.
Fearprint is a psychological horror film recommendation platform. Using AI, we analyze your quiz responses and film reactions to build a personalized fear profile and predict how specific horror films may affect you.
All recommendations, Fear Forecasts, and fear profile summaries are generated for entertainment and informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional psychological advice or medical guidance.
To access Fearprint you must register with a valid email address and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.
Please notify us immediately at hello@fearprint.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. You may only maintain one account and may not register on behalf of another person.
Note: We will never ask for your password by email. If you receive such a request, please report it to us.
Fearprint is designed to be a personalized horror discovery tool. To keep the platform trustworthy and useful for everyone, you agree not to:
Violations of these rules may result in account suspension or termination. Where appropriate, we may report violations to relevant authorities.
When you submit comments, reactions, ratings, or other content to Fearprint, you retain full ownership of that content. You grant Fearprint a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and analyze your content solely for the purposes of operating and improving the platform.
We will not sell your submitted content to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to Fearprint without your consent.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Please do not share personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
Note: You can delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
All platform content created by Fearprint — including the fear profile system, recommendation engine, Fear Forecast methodology, archetype system, platform design, and written copy — is our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our express written permission.
Film poster images and metadata are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and remain subject to TMDB's terms of use.
Fearprint uses AI to generate personalized content including fear profile summaries, Fear Forecasts, and Director DNA descriptions. While we work to make this content accurate and meaningful, AI-generated content is not perfect and may occasionally contain errors or unexpected results.
This content is intended for entertainment purposes. If you believe any AI-generated content is harmful or significantly inaccurate, please contact us at hello@fearprint.com and we will review it.
Fearprint is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to keep the platform running smoothly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We do not warrant that horror film recommendations, Fear Forecasts, or psychological profiles will always be accurate or complete. These are probabilistic predictions based on your inputs, not clinical assessments.
Horror content, by its nature, is intended to provoke strong emotional responses. You acknowledge that using Fearprint may expose you to film recommendations that you find disturbing or upsetting, and you accept responsibility for your own viewing choices.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fearprint and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
This includes, but is not limited to, emotional distress resulting from horror film content viewed as a result of our recommendations.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Fearprint shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fearprint in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Note: Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Fearprint harmless from any third-party claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly from your violation of these Terms of Service or your misuse of the platform.
This does not apply to claims arising from our own negligence or wrongdoing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. Where possible, we will notify you of the reason for any suspension and give you an opportunity to respond, unless doing so would compromise platform security or the safety of other users.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New York.
If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under the laws of your local jurisdiction that cannot be waived by this clause.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by displaying a prominent notice on the platform and, where possible, by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
If you do not agree with updated terms, you may close your account before the effective date. Continued use of Fearprint after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
